MCTX Oktoberfest

Quail Valley City Centre (2880 La Quinta)

Missouri City’s Oktoberfest offers a chance for the whole family to experience traditional German culture. The City Centre is transformed into a beer hall complete with Oktoberfest pennants and traditional décor. Guests enjoy authentic German music, games, food, and beverages from local vendors. Compete in costume contests, beer stein hoisting competition, and additional activities.

New to this year's festivities is the Inaugural Wiener Dog Race. The race is set to begin around 5:40 pm. Sign up your dachshund to compete in a 'short' race to see if they are the fastest in the area! The ultimate 'wiener' will take home a fun prize. Register online or by calling 281-403-8637!

Mother Son Challenge
Saturday, October 16
Roane Park (1440 Turtle Creek)
10:00 am-1:00 pm
Cost: $20 per mom & son couple. $5 per additional son.

This event offers a chance for moms and their sons to team up to complete a series of challenges including Nerf gun battles and much more! This event is for moms with sons ages 5-14 years old. Register online or by calling 281-403-8637.

Tricks & Treats in the Park
Saturday, October 23
Buffalo Run Park (1122 Buffalo Run)

Cost: Free

Join us are we provide a safe alternative for trick or treating in our community with a number of vendors, fall activities and free entertainment. Local businesses and organizations interested in hosting booths along the Tricks and Treats Trail can complete the Partner Registration Form and submit by the deadline Monday, October 18.

Outdoor Expo
Saturday, November 13
1:00-5:00 pm

Cost: Free

Spending time outdoors is fun and easier than you think! Join us for Missouri City's first Outdoor Expo and explore all the exciting activities available in our parks. Activities include archery, fishing, bowfishing, conservation, wildlife education, outdoor cooking, camping, and more. 

Stick around after the event for the Community Campout in the Park! Missouri City Parks & Recreation is partnering with Boy Scouts Troop #1424 to provide a fun camping experience in Community Park! Each family will get a campsite with nearby restrooms, a movie under the stars, and a bonfire for s'mores.

Families may bring their own dinner or pay $5 per person for a hot meal. Register online today! Don't have equipment? No problem! Contact us for tent rental options by calling 281-403-8634.
