Fort Bend County Debris Pickup Begins March 1 | FEMA Assistance Now Available

FEMA announced federal emergency aid has been made available to individuals/business owners who sustained losses in Fort Bend & Harris counties during this winter storm. Eligible individuals can apply by calling 1-800-621-3362 or 1-800-462-7585.

Fort Bend County will begin its winter debris pick up on Monday, March 1 and will last through Sunday, March 14. Residents should call 281-238-3499 or email Fort Bend County at WinterDebris@fortbendcountytx.gov with details including name, address and phone number to schedule a pick up. For additional details on acceptable items, see flyer below.

The City will host water distribution tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. at the following locations:


  • City Hall Complex: 1522 Texas Parkway

  • Fire Station 2: 12043 McLain Blvd.

  • First United Methodist Church: 3900 Lexington Blvd.

  • While supplies last, first come first serve. Social distancing required, no walk-ups.

    H-E-B notified the City today, that both of their locations in Missouri City are now open normal business hours. But limits are still in place for high demand items until stores get fully restocked by next week.
