At their Monday, Dec. 3, 2018 Regular Meeting, City Councilmembers recognized former Assistant City Manager Scott Elmer for more than 23 years of service to the City of Missouri City and the Junior Tennis players for winning the 2018 United States Tennis Association (USTA) Fall Sectional Championship; accepted the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee’s (CIAC) report on capital improvement impact fees and authorized the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement for the construction of the Beltway 8 connector project. Here is a rundown of all Council actions at the meeting:
Fort Bend County Judge-elect KP George visited the “Show Me City” and acknowledged the significance of the City in the region and the importance of the City-County partnership.Recognized former Assistant City Manager Scott Elmer on his retirement and more than 23 years of service with the City of Missouri City. Recognized Junior Tennis players Kendall Wu, Pratik Sahajwan, Jastine Escamos, Jasmine Escamos and Aly Ham for winning the 2018 United States Tennis Association (USTA) Fall Sectional Championship.
